A tree of maples planted by Sanei priest in 1634 is the beginning of maples of "Kourankei". He wished happiness of people and planted tree of maples from the approach to a shrine to Kourankei temple. After them from taishou era people planted many trees of maples and people feel proud about its scenery. It is held one month from November 1st to 30th. In autumn, green leaves turn yellow and red. It's a very beautiful view. As it grows darker, it is illuminated by 263 lights. Every year about five hundred thousand people visit there.

My Favorite Movie
I like watcting foreign movies, so I often watch movies in my home. I introduce to you about two movies. First is The Ninth Gate. This is a story that a detective of books decodes devil's book.
One day the detective is asked to look for devil's books existing only three in the world by a president of publisher. The president wanted to know that which is real or fake in three. On the way the detective look for devil's books, he is involved in different affairs. Although he is aimed his life, he is gradually fascinated devil's books controling by evil things. This movie is a very deep mysterious and exciting. If you like mysterious storys, please watch this movie.
